Prayer

Silent prayer

Followed by the audible repetition of the Lord’s Prayer with its spiritual interpretation by Mary Baker Eddy

Our Father which art in heaven,

Our Father-Mother God, all-harmonious,

Hallowed be Thy name.

Adorable One.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy kingdom is come; Thou art ever-present.

Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Enable us to know, as in heaven, so on earth, God is omnipotent, supreme.

Give us this day our daily bread;

Give us grace for to-day; feed the famished affections;

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And Love is reflected in love;

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;

And God leadeth us not into temptation, but delivereth us from sin, disease, and death.

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

For God is infinite, all-power, all Life, Truth, Love, over all, and All.

From Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p.16, line 26

GOLDEN TEXT

II Corinthians 13:14 (to 1st .)

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion

of the Holy Ghost, be with you all.

RESPONSIVE READING

II Corinthians 4:15 all; Matthew 20:17-19; Matthew 26:17 -20, 26-28, 30

I Cor. 4:15 ... all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might

through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

Matt. 20:17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in

the way, and said unto them,

18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto

the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,

19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to

crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

26:17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to

Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the

passover?

18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master

saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my

disciples.

19 And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready

the passover.

20 Now when the even was come he sat down with the twelve.

26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and

gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink

ye all of it;

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the

remission of sins.

30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of

Olives.

Silent Communion followed by the Lord's Prayer

Hymn 1:

Be Thou, O God, Exalted High;

Scientific Statement of Being

There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all. Spirit is immortal Truth; matter is mortal error. Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal. Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual.

From Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p.468, line 9

Correlative Scripture

I John 3:1–3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
